Amélie Fournier
Atelier Rive
Lyon, France
I learned saddle-stitching in a Hermès-trained workshop before opening Atelier Rive on the banks of the Saône. Everything I make — totes, satchels, small goods — starts as a full hide of vegetable-tanned leather from a Tuscan tannery and is stitched entirely by hand, two needles at a time. My pieces are built to be repaired, not replaced: I keep patterns for every commission so your bag can come home for care years later.

Studio Norrsken
Stockholm, Sweden
I throw stoneware in a converted printworks in Södermalm. My glazes are mixed from ash and local feldspar — matte, speckled, quietly Nordic. I make dinnerware in open series and one-off lamps, and I love commissions that let a whole table grow around one glaze.
Great serviceMatteo Ricci
Bottega Ricci
Florence, Italy
Third-generation Florentine leatherworker. My grandfather opened this bottega in 1958; I still use his brass hardware press. I split my time between classic briefcases, travel goods, and a small line of hand-lasted derby shoes. Vacchetta leather, saddle stitch, burnished edges — nothing that can't be resoled or restitched.

Pracownia Len
Kraków, Poland
Len means linen — and linen is nearly all I sew. Loose dresses, shirts, and kidswear in European flax, garment-dyed in small batches. Everything is cut in my Kazimierz studio and sewn with flat-felled seams that survive decades of washing.
Great serviceClara Weiß
Werkstatt Clara
Leipzig, Germany
Trained on Savile Row, sewing in Leipzig. I make made-to-measure jackets and coats for all bodies — canvassed, hand-padded lapels, real buttonholes. Deadstock European wools whenever possible. Two fittings, then a garment that actually fits the person in front of me, not a size chart.
Great serviceElena Popescu
Atelier Fir
Bucharest, Romania
Fir means thread — I draw silver wire down to it. Forged hoops, hammered cuffs, and hand-engraved signets, each finished at the bench in my apartment studio. I love engraving commissions: initials, coordinates, a line from a letter.
João Almeida
Oficina do Corvo
Porto, Portugal
I build solid-wood furniture in a former port warehouse — oak and walnut, hand-cut joinery, oil finishes you can repair with a rag. Most of my work is commissioned dining tables and benches sized to the room they'll live in.
Fast shipperLars Mikkelsen
Værksted Nord
Copenhagen, Denmark
Cabinetmaker in the Danish tradition — I apprenticed under a PP Møbler journeyman and it shows. Ash and oak, steam-bent parts, soap finishes. I make chairs, side tables, and lighting that sit quietly in a room and outlast everyone in it.
Long-time memberAoife Byrne
Slane Studio
Dublin, Ireland
Milliner working in felt, sinamay, and vintage ribbon. I block every hat by hand on lime-wood forms — race-day pieces, wedding headwear, and winter felts you'll actually wear. Commissions welcome from a sketch, a dress swatch, or a very vague feeling.
Sofía Herrera
Taller Sol
Valencia, Spain
I weave on a hundred-year-old floor loom under a skylight in Ruzafa. Cushions, throws, and rugs in Spanish wool and linen — Mediterranean colour, hand-tied fringes, no two alike.
